All in all, I had a pretty awesome weekend 🙂

Saturday I spend mostly hanging around, not doing a whole heck of a lot even though I totally needed to be. Later in the evening, like really later, we burned one of the massive piles of crap that was in the orchard. It took about three or so hours for it to burn down to just the bigger, more solid stuff. So I didn’t get to bed until super late that night.

Sunday, I got up early and was getting things ready to leave when we heard this ruckus outside and I saw what  I though was just a car missing the corner. But apparently, he sideswiped someone and then kinda just drove off the curve. He kept refusing medical attention, so more than likely he was still drunk from the night before.

After getting a late start to the event, M and I were on the road. With the Yellow Dog of course. He did us proud at the event and brought home a fourth place in both his wave and the veteran finals, as well as a first place and sixth place in his speed retrieve waves (1st place express in the wave, sixth place overall in the finals). So that was a blast. Then we headed home, right into some on-coming thunderstorms. So we got to ride that out over the evening.

Now I’m just trying to get back into the swing of things here at work, sporting a pretty sweet sunburn on part of my arms and my face. Hopefully it will be going away soon. It doesn’t hurt…just feels a little uncomfortable 😛
