Feet Up Friday

That’s where I’m headed after work tonight! First I have to stop off and pick up my packet for the 5k I’m doing tomorrow. I’m actually going to take some pictures this time (hopefully, cross your fingers that I even remember), so that my review and recap are a little more lively looking rather than just a bunch of typed words. This blog needs a little more pep in its step.

I recently received a new journal and mini book from the company Miro. They are a brand new company that is making a line of journals/notebooks to help encourage writing. I’m using the mini notebook as a little food journal, to try and help track my eating better. Maybe if I see how much food I am stuffing in my face written on a piece of paper-I can better control what I’m putting in there. I don’t have set plans for the journal yet, I’m not really certain what direction I want to take with it. I’ve been bouncing ideas around inside my head, but nothing concrete has taken root. So I suppose we shall see.

I’m looking forward to yoga tonight. It’s been a minute since I’ve been and I’m looking forward to it. I’m also looking forward to playing with my Garmin and turning the beep and such off so that I can get a more accurate calorie burn count, because I feel like the Garmin does a better job at tracking my calories than my Timex was doing. Hopefully the battery has enough charge for that since I forgot the charger. I definitely need to make sure that it is plugged in and charging tonight so that it’s good to go tomorrow for the race.

All in all, I’m just glad the weekend is finally here 🙂
