It’s been crazy hot here the past few weeks and insanely dry on top of that, so pretty much everywhere is putting a ban on fireworks and cancelling or rescheduling their firework displays. So sad…

This weekend was crazy busy. Saturday I was up super early to clean and crap and then we headed to a friend’s house for a fish fry. I hadn’t really wanted to go, but once I was there I actually had a pretty good time.  We stayed out super late and played cards for a majority of the night. It was pretty fun.

Sunday I spent the day working on the quilt that I am planning on giving my sister for her birthday which is today and her party is tomorrow and I don’t know that I will get it done. I kind of forgot that’s what I was giving her for her birthday this year. Whoops!

I’m leaving work early today so that I can run my errands before taking the dog to the vet for his shots and such. Nothing major wrong, just his yearly check up. I have a couple of things to pick up at the grocery store and I need to get dog food, so I will be busy tonight before getting home. All in a days work I suppose.
