Monday Monday Monday

This week is going to be ridiculously crazy. A girl at the tax office is going on vacation or something, so they needed someone to fill in her evenings. And since nobody else apparently remembers that the tax office is open past 5 p.m., I said I would go ahead and take the two extra days. So no nights of reprieve here! Lots of tax time. Luckily, it is starting to slow down a bit, so we should be ok there.

This weekend was a pretty decent one. I haven’t been to yoga in ages, and the only person really suffering on that end is me. Unfortunately it’s going to have to go on the back burner AGAIN this week due to the fact that I’m working every night, and then I have a facial on Sunday (woot woot!). But another part of the issue is the huge guilt complex I get faced with. For instance, this past Sunday, I had set my sights on going to class. However the more I thought about all the stuff I had to do at home and all the other things I wanted to get done yesterday, I couldn’t bring myself to go. In the end, I still had a great day, and got a few things done that really needed to be done, but I still can’t help but feel a little guilty about not going to class as well.

So Saturday, I got my hair cut. Nothing major, just refashioned my bangs, cleaned up the ends, and added another layer. Also, we discussed my summer hairs. I have been scouring pinterest forever trying to find the perfect low maintenance summer colors. I think I found a winner. Can’t wait to get my hair done now! Then I stopped by my parents house, and went to the mall. Where I’m sure I spent way to much money. I got a few tanks and a pair of boxer sleep shorts from Aerie, a couple t-shirts from Victoria’s Secret, and then I got the Tarte BB makeup from Sephora (along with my favorite lip balm, I have to stock up!). I haven’t used the BB cream yet, but I plan to do so soon and I will let you know how it goes.

Sunday was my dog Kaycee’s “birthday”. I put that in quotations because she was a rescue and we don’t really know when she was born. The vets best guess was sometime in March, so I picked St. Patrick’s day for an easy reminder. So we went over to my parents and hung out with my sister and mom while all the dogs played together. And I managed to get a little housework done for the day (yippee!).

So now I’m here, and it’s Monday. And it’s been kind of a bummer of a day so far. But it’s almost over-at least one job! Then I can get in the car, listen to some music, and rock out for a bit before heading to the tax office. Hope your Monday is going better than mine!
