And tax season is done (for me at least)!

Now if only the weather could straighten itself out a bit I would be more than pleased. Tonight I have a 2 mile run scheduled for my half training, which starts today. And from the looks of the weather forecast, it’s going to be inside on the treadmill. And the poor dogs are going to have to stay cooped up one more day, because if it’s thunder storming, we definitely are NOT going to be heading out to CC.

On Sunday, M decided it was a good day to burn our massive pile of random lawn bits, old christmas trees, etc. So while he was doing that I decided to come out and “help” and take photos. I decided to practice in manual, where I set the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture settings. I left it on auto focus, just so that I had one less thing to worry about. I opened a few of my photos up in Photoshop, and some of them didn’t turn out to shabby! Very exciting for me:)  I’m looking forward to getting a few thrown up on here for everyone to have a looksies at.

I’ve got to get my kitchen cleaned up, because it is an absolute mess. Also, we accidentally got our mailbox neighbors trash bill, and they pay like $30 less than we do for their trash service. They use a different company, but I’m thinking about looking it up when I get home, and seeing how much it would maybe be for us to use them as well.

All in all, I’m really looking forward to not having to go straight from one job to the next. As much as I love everyone(ish) at block, I’m glad to have my evenings back again:)
