So.. I had a pretty fantastic weekend, I don’t know about you guys!
Friday night after work I stopped off at the American Girl store and bought a doll for my niece Nat, because I had planned to give her mine, but realized that I couldn’t give it up. Which is a good thing because it may be worth a touch of money…I need to google that one! Anyways, after picking out the doll and getting home, we headed out to our friend’s house to celebrate Nat’s birthday. I can’t believe she is already 6! What the hell? I remember just the other day she was a fat little chunk with a Beetles hair style 😦
Saturday I got up and got ready for our day at the American Girl store, and we headed there early so we could make reservations to eat lunch in their little cafe. A good thing we did too, because by the time we sat down when the place was opening, they were accepting reservations for 2:30. And it was only 11 a.m. Crazy! All in all we had tons of fun, except someone think she needs to match her doll at all times now 😉 .
Later, I headed to my parents house with the dogs to have a small pool party to celebrate Cody & Max’s birthdays. I got them a little cake from our favorite dog bakery and we all had a great time.
Sunday I woke up super early and headed out to Kirkwood to do the All American 5k, and then came home and made some breakfast. We headed over to my parents again for Father’s Day celebrations and I started to not feel good. So for the first 30 or so minutes at my parents house I just laid on the couch waiting until my Aleve kicked in and got rid of my headache 😦 but after that it was superb!
Last night I spent the evening cleaning my living and bedroom. It took a while since I haven’t cleaned in there in forever. And I filed all our bills and important paper work that has been piling up for the last 6 months. When I retire I better be one rich bitch, simply because I get some much damn paperwork from Ed Jones about my retirement stuff. Not kidding, between M and myself we get probably 7 things a month from them. Crazy! Between all that, all the stupid ad things they put in with your regular bills (M refuses to go paperless), and phone books…no wonder we run out of trees!
