Monday’s workout- strength/toning 30 minutes
I actually completed the whole stinkin’ workout! Woot Woot! And today my legs are feeling it. I think Mondays workout is more of a legs day and today’s workout is definitely an ABS workout. Plus, my goal is to go running this evening. I think tonight I’m going to try running for a set time rather than a set distance and see where that takes me. In the past I’ve always run for distance, and I’m constantly counting down how many steps I have left. So this way I will just count minutes. And it might be easier to see progress, since I can tell if I’m going farther during a set amount of time versus did I just have a good day running or am I actually getting better?
And I know it is going to suck because the last time I ran was in July and I haven’t managed to do shit for the last few months. So I know it’s going to be like starting over from scratch. Boo. Oh well, it’s my own fault I suppose.
My parents have been out of town the past couple of days so I have been stopping by after work and taking care of their cat. And then heading home to take care of my brood. Which I have not been doing a very good job of! Poor family 😦
Anyways-back to the more boring aspects of my mundane life…I’ll be posting a new recipe this Saturday for Chicken & Noodles. We like to have ours with Mashed Potatoes (Pioneer Woman style) so you can make those to go with the Chicken & Noodles or you can just have them alone in a bowl. Did anyone try the grilled cheeseburger wrap recipe? We liked them quite a bit.
I’m coloring my hair tonight. Nothing drastic, just going a little darker and covering up my grey hairs. I know I’m only 28, but as a side effect/symptom of Hashimoto’s you get premature grey hairs. And not just on your head. My eyebrows and eyelashes have even come in grey!
This is the color I’m using:
Close to my natural color but it will start out a little darker. You can brush it on a la professional colorist or you can use a bottle. I haven’t decided which route I’m taking yet. I like this color because it’s semi-permanent so it fades a little better than permanent hair color, which just sits there until it gets covered up or the growth gets cut off. Plus, it’s much more affordable than going to the dang salon all the time. You can order it directly from Couture Colour or I get mine from my Sephora shop.
I also got a new face wash to add to my regime, made by Bliss Spa.
That’s all I really have for right now I suppose. Guess it’s back to work time 😦
