All I Want For Christmas

Sometimes I find it really hard to believe that Christmas is only a little over a week away, and that it’s nearly 2013. Time seems to have flown by this year, it honestly feels like just yesterday it was a million degrees out and the 4th of July. But that was 5 months ago!

It gets harder each year to think of stuff to put on my Christmas list. This year was difficult as well. There are things that I would love to have, and want, I just don’t have anywhere to put them in my tiny house.

However, this year I asked for some Lululemon gear, several Otterbox items, a gift certificate for more yoga (I ❤ yoga!), and a meat mallet.

Yeah, you read that right, a meat mallet.

I’ve also asked for gift cards and told folks that the various oddities that I enjoy are also acceptable things to get me. Such as anything for photography, scrapbooking, sewing, cooking, and running. A few of my loves.

But honestly, my favorite part of Christmas is actually getting people gifts! I love picking something out, or making something that I know they will like and use and watching them open them up on Christmas. So nerdy I know!

So, now I’ve got to buckle down and get my shopping and crafting done for everyone. I already bought M’s main present, and he has it since he had to go with me to get it, but I decided to get something small that he can open and put it under the tree. I need to get stocking stuff for myself and him. And I’ve already got the dog’s gifts bought. I just ordered some stuff from Best Buy to pick up on my way home, and I’m sure I will be able to do a little more shopping this weekend. I don’t know if I will get everyone knocked out this weekend, or if I will have to do some shopping next week as well.

I also can’t wait to use up all the wrapping paper I have now, so I can get some more cute gift wrap in!
