So, let’s catch up on workouts huh?
Saturday was the Color Run which actually went really nicely. I will have a post about that up soon-possibly tomorrow. Then Sunday I just spent the day around the house, cleaning up things here and there and accomplishing some laundry. So, in other words, nothing really exciting going on around this joint this past weekend.
Monday I had two miles on the schedule and managed to get out there and complete them. And it was hot! I was completely unprepared for the nearly 90 degree weather that seemingly came out of no where. I was dying by the time I was done! But I trucked along and kept my miles under 17 minutes a piece, so I was pretty happy with that.
Tuesday’s workout was Yogahour. I modified the half moon pose and had no pain in my right hip! It was great 🙂 And it didn’t bother me today either. I was able to hold my own through the class and only had to take a few breaks.
Tonight’s run went a little better, as far as temperature goes. But as far as pace I was a little all over the place. I stopped several times on mile 2 to chat with a couple of people but, I got done and then took a little walk with my mother in law. Which was nice. We had lots of time to chat and catch up, since we haven’t had a chance to do that in a while.
So far I’m sticking to my little training plan I’ve made up for myself, but it has only been three days into it. But we will just have to wait and see!

I did the color run last Saturday in STL also, weather was terrible, run was fun though! Can’t wait to hear your race recap 🙂
