In an effort to diversify a little bit-I want to talk about music today.

I love music. Nearly every type except for most of the eighties “soft rock”. Just can’t quite hop on that train. Although, I do feel like some of the artist today are grasping at straws when it comes to writing songs.

But I want to share with you a handful of songs that I’m really enjoying right now, on the off-chance that perhaps I can show you something new, that you might not have heard of yet.

Pentatonix-Radioactive (feat. Lindsay Stirling)

Love this song by Imagine Dragons, but this cover is outstanding. Pentatonix is a spectacular group. I highly recommend checking them out.

Ja Rule-Mesmerize (feat. Ashanti)

Old school. Has it really been 10 years since I jammed out to this the summer after I graduated?

That’s a few songs for you to mull over (or relive some fun times). I also have one little secret to share and I’m sure I’m not alone. I totally listen to Christmas music all year. Pentatonix has some great Christmas songs too. Yes I’m aware it’s August-I’m just putting it out there.

Tonight after work I’m going to check out one of the new outlet malls that opened up in Chesterfield Valley this past weekend. We’ll see how that goes!
