So far, deer hunting has been a total bust! I haven’t even seen a single deer in the woods, let alone the big bucks that everyone keeps saying they see at the edge of the trees 😦

So I’m probably taking a vacation day tomorrow to try one last time (for now) to land a deer before the season closes.

In other news, I totally forgot to drop off my Turkey Trot registration before the 18th so my fee goes up a whopping $2.50 to $15 bucks. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, a race that’s under $20 even after the early bird cut off. Now it’s not fancy or anything, but it’s a decent little race and it raises money for the community band and also food donations for the food pantry. Which is really nice!

I’m also getting very excited about the Santa’s North Pole Dash. A few friends have also signed up to run, so me and BooBoo dog are going to run to run it with our friends and their pups. I’m sure it’s going to be a blast! Plus, they are doing medals at this race as well, which is always nice!

Speaking of medals, I still have not received mine from the RNR STL half marathon back in October. I know that they said 6-ish weeks, but it would still be nice to get mine sometime soon. Still a little disappointed that they ran out of them.

All in all I had a pretty good weekend. Now just to make it through this super short work week and have a nice four-day weekend!
