My Shins Hurt

First off, let me apologize for the lack of updates and other stuff. I completely forgot that it was October and that I had nothing scheduled to post this past weekend. So sorry! Secondly, I had a very busy weekend.

First off, Friday night I stopped off at Dick’s sporting goods and bought some Under Armour. Love UA! They have some of the cutest breast cancer awareness garb. I got two hoodies (because that’s just what I need) and a pair of sweat pants. Then it was home for some sloppy joes and good TV with M and the pups.

Saturday I got up early (ish) and headed out with my MIL and SIL and niece to do the breast cancer walk. I did it a couple of years ago and I hated it! It’s a two-mile walk/run that is basically one straight mile downhill and then one straight mile uphill. And it’s not a gradual incline either, it’s fairly steep! I cursed that stupid, effing hill the entire climb. But it was fun to do something together, and no I don’t think I will do it next year unless the change the course or something drastic!

Then it was home were I started making Slow Cooker Baked Potato Soup (recipe will post on Saturday!) and then M and I headed out to the grocery store(s). Yes, we have to go to multiple stores to find everything we like. After spending way too much money we came home, unloaded, and then proceeded to enjoy our soups while watching the new movies we got. We watched Bridesmaids and The Grey. Both were pretty good, although I may have to watch bridesmaids again. I think my expectations were a little to high on that one.

Since I have to run, I will finish up weekend recap and race recap tomorrow!
