October Wrap Up & What’s Coming Up for November

Holy hell! How is it already October 31st?

Happy Halloween, I guess!

This month has really flown by, and I regret that I wasn’t able to get out nearly as many posts as I had been hoping to get out. Which sucks, but it will only push me to get better at scheduling my content for you guys. My sister’s bachelorette in Nashville, which was followed closely by her wedding, the FFA alumni tractor ride (yes, this is a thing and yes, I did participate), and finishing up on of my bigger projects has taken up a huge amount of my time. But, that’s all done with now, so I’ll be able to focus on getting back into my routines and getting shit done.

So, even though I didn’t post much about anything going on, let’s take a look back in October!

Right off the bat, we headed to Nashville for my sister’s bachelorette party. We stayed in a beautiful, but stair-filled Airbnb, had an epic brunch by Placemat, and hit up several rooftop bars to round out the fun-filled weekend.

The following weekend was the Troy FFA Alumni tractor ride. I drove this beauty pictured here, and it was a chilly four-hour journey. All in all it was a pretty fun time, and it helped add money to the scholarship fund that the alumni have.

Then finally the event of the century-THE WEDDING

We spent pretty much the entire week doing various wedding-related activities, and it all came together that Saturday night for an epic wedding and reception.

I’d show you the project I wrapped up, but since it’s a wedding gift and my sister reads here sometimes I don’t want to spoil the surprise!

What to look forward to in November?

Since today officially kicks off the trifecta holiday season, November will have some gift guides to help you shop for those hard to buy for people in your life (or yourself, no judgment here) and some holiday recipes. Also, posting some winter skincare tips (because it fucking snowed at my house and it’s only October people), tips for getting back into a routine, workout recaps (because hello yoga I’ve been missing you and my studio had a sale!), and who knows what else I might find to put together!

I for one am looking forward to some fall/winter running, mat time with some of my favorite yoga teachers, and the abundance of mashed potatoes and turkey that’s coming my way!
