OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG! Just a mere 2-ish days until I am gloriously on vacation!!

Can ya tell I’m a wee-bit excited?

On either Monday or Tuesday, we are heading over/down to the Lake of the Ozarks for nearly a whole week. A whole week of vacation not spent dealing with ignorant-ass people? Yippee! The only downside for me is I can’t bring the dogs, so they have to spend a week with Grandma & Grandpa. Makes me sad(ish).

For the week it will just be me, M and Big A and his parents, then on Friday the others will start to show up. My BFLT is coming, R & L and their kiddos, and DG and JH are bring their rugrat. Not entirely excited about spending the whole weekend with some of the kids, but hopefully they will be on their good behaviors and I won’t have to drown any of them.

My running has been pretty much non-existent the past few days…and I am not quite ok with that. I really need to give one final push and get the house freaking cleaned the hell up before we leave to the lake…maybe set out a few mouse traps since they seem to have decided to beat the heat as well and come live in my house AGAIN!! Grr! And definitely some ant poison so those little bastards will GTFO of my kitchen. Dishes are definitely my downfall 😉

I did receive some validation while talking with my friend AC last night. Seems quite a few people were disappointed with the way things were turning out at the club events…oh well, I’m washing my hands of that shit. They want me to save their asses, then chew my ass after I did all this work…they can fuck off. I will gladly watch them fall on their faces. Because that is what is going to happen unless they can get their heads out of their asses. Enough on that!

Pretty excited to send off Yellow Dog’s paperwork. I really think that we can pass at least the Junior level hunt test, and maybe work on a leg or two of a Senior level hunt test. Maybe even successfully go hunting. He’s a good boy, even though he is getting up there in years. Plus, I need to work BooBoo on agility. I’ve given us 9 months to really work and see if we can master the basics to attempt an actual agility trial, so I kinda need to get on the ball their. She needs an activity…besides being a total couch potato!
