We’ll see though…I tried it a few seconds ago and it didn’t want to work.

I got the Christmas lights put on the tree last night. A taxing chore by yourself I think. Especially when you have an eight foot tall tree. Who was the crazy bitch that wanted one that tall? (Oops!)

Now to just put the ornaments on. Every year we get a new ornament from M’s parents (also known as “Santa”) and they usually follow along some kind of them…except for me because I’m weird like that I suppose! The last couple of years I have been getting a couple of ornaments for the tree at Hallmark. Those bastards sure know how to make a buck off of the holidays!

I know that I am most likely getting my Cardy Uggs for Christmas from my parents since my mom just called and asked about them. Because I forgot to specify color and size on those. I’m moderately excited because they look super comfortable and I can be a bigger bum than usual because I’m not only wearing stretchy pants but stretchy shoes as well. Plus I can wear them with my pants to yoga and not look like a total nerd, a la yoga the other night when I wore my Nike crop tights, pink & grey rain boot socks (the kind that come up to your knees) and my brown leather Uggs (or as I like to call them “Ugglys”). But I was semi-warm and that’s all that really matters, right?

Right.

Moving on…M spoke of what he had gotten me for Christmas in a very non-specific way. Now it will drive me nuts for the next 18 days until Christmas time. Son of a biscuit! I hate it when he does crap like that. And he knows it! I still have a bit of Christmas shopping to do for folks, although I do have some done ahead of time. I would like to get all my family shopping a head of time, so that I can use my bonus more on M and get him a good present. I always say I’m going to do this and then NEVER do. I typically forget about it and then get in a panic because I don’t know what on earth to buy for anyone. Everyone is so hard to choose for!

I do have some picture gifts picked out for people. I’m doing this really nice, framed print for my MIL, and then for my Mom I am doing 8 x 10s of us kids so she has some semi-updated pictures of us to display in her home. I’m debating on framing them, because A) she can be picky, and B) I don’t know what frames to choose yet. Although I did print out some sweet Michael’s coupons so I can use those when I go frame hunting.

All that’s left on my running calendar is the Santa’s North Pole Dash this Saturday. Then it’s off to the fabric store, and a couple other place to grab some odds and ends gifts and the stuff to make my sister’s boyfriend’s gift. I have some sweet JoAnn’s coupons as well. Love me some JoAnn’s! And then it’s a weekend of actual cleaning (yes I am really going to CLEAN this weekend) and a yoga class on Sunday. I’m going tomorrow night, after I pick up my race packet, and then on Sunday. Hopefully I get my membership I asked for, for Christmas. I would love it!!
